The DVD picture has been mastered in 16:9 Widescreen (Anamorphically Enhanced for widescreen TV's) that provides the very best picture quality and can also be viewed on a normal TV.
The sound is mastered in Dolby Digital 5.1 (5 seperate channels of sound plus sub-bass). This provides superb sound quality and a true cinema surround experience -when played on equipment that can make use of it, but also retains compatibilty with TV's, Stereo or Dolby Surround equipment.
The Deliverance DVD also includes the original theatrical trailer(s), a filmmakers commentary where they talk you through the making of the movie, featurette program(s) on the making of the movie.
