The DVD picture has been mastered in 16:9 Widescreen (Anamorphically Enhanced for widescreen TV's) that provides the very best picture quality and can also be viewed on a normal TV.
The sound is mastered in Dolby Digital 5.1 (5 seperate channels of sound plus sub-bass). This provides superb sound quality and a true cinema surround experience -when played on equipment that can make use of it, but also retains compatibilty with TV's, Stereo or Dolby Surround equipment.
The Logan's Run DVD also includes the original theatrical trailer(s), a filmmakers commentary where they talk you through the making of the movie, featurette program(s) on the making of the movie.

Logan's Run has never been available in the UK or Europe on DVD. Neither has any information been announced. As soon as we know something, it'll appear here and in the news section on the site.
However, as many of these older titles are never going to get a European release on DVD due to licensing problems, why not buy the USA (region 1) version on import?
It's easier than you think because you can buy from Amazon.co.uk and pay in pounds sterling (£) --and just look at those low prices they pay in the good ole US of A!
Note: Most (but not all) DVD players are capable of playing DVDs from the USA after a few presses of the remote control to remove the regional code protection. Contact your retailer or search for your DVD model and the words region free in google to find out how.
